Term 3
While it has been a short Term 3, it has been absolutely packed with important school events. From excursions, school sports, subject selection and pathways events, it certainly has been busy.
Year 12 Vocational Major Students
Congratulations to our Year 12 Vocational Major students who completed their Year 12 studies this week. Due to the fact that VCE Vocational Major students do not complete exams, their Unit 3 and 4 classes have concluded this week. We are very excited for this cohort of students who have now completed their VCE certificate and head off into the world of further study at TAFE, traineeships, apprenticeships and full-time work. Many of these students have completed a nationally recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) certificate as part of their VCE – allowing them a step up into their preferred career pathway with a training advantage.
Elevation Secondary College greatly values Vocational Learning and has established a range of options for students who are looking to move directly into training or the workforce from school. From Build 10 to Head Start, important industry VET subjects and our strong Vocational Major program, I am genuinely proud of the programs we have established in such a short space of time.
Year 12 Structured Revision
Our VCE students will be completing a number of weeks of structured exam revision over coming weeks, being led directly by their teachers through a structured program. As part of this program all Year 12 VCE students will be completing a series of mock exams during the school holiday break. This program is exceptionally important in helping students to prepare for their final exams.
