Year 7
The Year 7 students have had a fantastic start to their journey at Elevation Secondary College! Our three day induction program has helped them settle in, connect with their classmates and mentor group teachers, and develop valuable skills for success.
We appreciate everyone who attended our Welcome BBQ on February 17th, it was a great way to build our school community.
Recently, students attended Camp Rumbug from Monday, February 24th to Wednesday February 26th. It was an incredible experience where they demonstrated resilience, participated in a variety of activities and formed new friendships.
It’s wonderful to see students growing in confidence as they navigate secondary school life. A reminder to all students to bring the necessary equipment each day and ensure they arrive at school and class on time.
Looking ahead, NAPLAN will take place from March 12th to 21st.

Year 8
It’s been great to see our Year 8 students settle into the new school year, building positive routines and engaging with their learning. As we continue through the term, we encourage students to maintain positive habits to support their learning.
Our Junior School Focus this term is on building strong routines. This includes wearing the uniform with pride, arriving on time each day, using polite language, and actively participating in school routines such as Welcome Circles and LSL. These routines help create a structured, respectful, and engaging environment for our school community.
A reminder that Student Learning Conferences are coming up soon (in Week 9) – these are a great opportunity to discuss progress and set goals for the remainder of the year. More details will be shared closer to the date.
