As we come to the end of another busy and rewarding year at Elevation Secondary College, it’s a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate.
In 2026 we welcomed many new teachers and Education Support staff as our community grew, strengthening our capacity to support students in their learning and wellbeing. This year’s new staff cohort has contributed strongly to the positive momentum across the school, and we thank them for the energy, professionalism and expertise they have brought to the College.
We also extend our congratulations to our Year 12 students. Their effort, resilience and determination throughout the year, especially during the exam period, has been outstanding. We are proud of what they have achieved and look forward to following their next steps beyond Elevation, wherever those may lead.
As students prepare for the holiday break, it’s valuable for everyone to reflect on the year that has been:

Did I push myself to extend my learning, challenge my thinking, and pursue excellence?

Did I put consistent effort into each subject, stay focused, and take responsibility for my learning?

Did I uphold our expectations, treat others kindly, and contribute positively to our school community?
Your answers, whatever they may be, are an opportunity for growth. The summer break is a perfect time to reset, recharge and prepare for success in the year ahead. A few useful reminders:
Complete your holiday homework and read your English texts early, so you can enjoy the rest of your break without stress.
Reconnect with family and friends. Term time is fast-paced; the holidays are a chance to slow down and invest in the people who support you.
Start preparing for school a couple of weeks before we return. Check your uniform, organise your stationery, reset your sleep routine, and make sure you’re ready for a positive start.
Try a genuine digital break. Reducing screen time gives your brain space to rest, focus and think creatively.
The night before school starts, pack your bag, get your uniform ready, and help siblings so the morning runs smoothly.
