Year 9
As Term 2 draws to a close, our Year 9 students have recently completed their final Common Assessment Tasks. It has been fantastic to see so many students celebrating outstanding achievements and high grades across a range of subjects. Their hard work and dedication throughout the term is truly commendable.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to kick off Term 3 with our Year 9 Awards Assembly. This special event will acknowledge and celebrate those students who have achieved top grades in each subject, recognising the exceptional effort and academic excellence displayed this semester.
We will also celebrate the results of our Year 9 Aspire Points competition. The mentor group with the highest points will be awarded the Mentor Group Cup—a symbol of their teamwork, positive behaviour and consistent contributions to school life. This trophy will be theirs to proudly display throughout Term 3.
As we prepare to begin Semester 2, students will be transitioning into new electives and enjoying a fresh start. Over the school holidays, we encourage families to check and restock any necessary equipment, books, and uniform items. Being well-prepared ensures every student can make the most of their learning from day one next term.
We wish all our Year 9 students and their families a safe and restful holiday break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for a positive and energised start to Term 3.
Year 10
Exams
Well done to all Year 10 students on completing recent exams for the end of Semester 1.
It has been great to see students proud of the marks they have received after putting in extra study, revision and practice prior to exams and to see the hard work pay off.
Work Experience – 30th June – 4th July
Well done to all students that are completing their work experience. It has been fantastic for staff to speak with employers and see students working in a setting outside of school in a potential career pathway and glimpse into the future.
If work experience has sparked an interest for your child’s pathway, the Careers Team are happy to speak with students regarding what next steps can be taken to start your child’s journey.
Celebrations
Near the start of Term 3, we will celebrate students’ achievements at assembly, recognising the students that have shown excellence in each subject as well as students that are continuing to improve and recognised by teachers.
