Year 12 Exams
External VCAA exams for Unit 3-4 students started on Tuesday 28th October with the English exam and will run through to the 19th November. The timetable is accessible here. https://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/administration/key-dates/vce-examination-timetableÂ
We encourage students to check-in with their teachers regularly up until their exams – teachers will be present in their classrooms during times when students had their regular classes so are available to help students revise and prepare.
Year 11 Exams
Year 11 exams will take place from the 11th-19th November. The draft timetable is shown below and may change prior to the start of the exam period. All exams will take place in either D Block or the Gym. Students will be finishing their Unit 2 content imminently and we encourage them to revise diligently for these exams. A small number of students will have a clash in exams, and be given a separate time to complete their clash subjects.

Year 10 Exams
Year 10 exams will take place from the 21st-27th November. The draft timetable is shown below and, once again, may change prior to the start of the exam period. All exams will take place in the Gym. For both Year 10 and Year 11 exams, students are not required to be at school when they do not have an exam. Students with clashes in their exams will be notified and sit their clash exam at a separate time.

Humanities
At the end of Term 3 the Year 7 cohort went to Docklands on a joint excursion with PE. Half of the year level went ice skating, while the other half assessed the liveability of Docklands as part of the Year 7 Geography curriculum and then they switched later in the day.
It was the first time many students had attempted ice skating and there were a few bumps, bruises and laughs had by all. The Geography part of the excursion saw students walk from Ron Baresi Park along the waterfront towards Marvel Stadium and back again. What was meant to be a bustling area perfect for young city working professionals, Docklands has limited amenities, abandoned shopfronts and can be exposed to high winds. Students were able to collect and table data that informed their end of unit assessment task.
Middle school Humanities students are about to begin preparation for their end of year exams. This being the first formal exams that students complete for History. VCE students are preparing for exams, with students sitting Australian History, Legal Studies and Business Management in the coming weeks.
